Surrounded by tall jack pines, this rustic equestrian campground is located adjacent to the Shore-to-Shore Trail, a 420-mile trail system open to hiking and horseback riding. The trail stretches east-west from Empire to Oscoda with two additional northern and southern spur trails. The facility accommodates tents and trailers and includes a submersible pump that requires a 5000-watt generator. Maximum capacity is 40 individuals. Group rates apply at this site: $6 per person per night if camping with a horse or $15 per night for a group of 6 people.

The campground is located 21.4 miles northwest of Mio via M-33 North, West Miller Road and Walsh Road and is maintained with the help of the Michigan Trail Riders Association.
