Join us for this free event. Access to our triple lift and tow rope is included with your lift ticket or season pass. Please note: A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into the park.
Youth Treasure Hunt (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Prize capsules hidden on the east side of the hill. Bring them to the Chalet A-Frame to collect your prizes! Game is complete when all prizes are gone. Two grand-prize winner.
Adult selfie scavenger hunt (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Follow the hints and take a selfie. Additional details posted at event. Two grand-prize winners will be randomly chosen from the photo uploads
Cardboard sled race (1 p.m.)
Supplies will be in the A-Frame beginning at 10 a.m. Construct a sled with cardboard and duct tape or bring a pre-made racer! Race age groups: 10 and under, 11 to 17 years and 18 years and older. Youth best in show prize.
Lunch special at Fireside Grill (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Homemade chili and cornbread! Wide variety of other goodies!
Beginner snowshoe hike (2 to 4 p.m.)
Learn the basics of snowshoeing; how to make your own trail, navigate obstacles and get up if you fall. Learn a bit about local wildlife along the way. Meet at the Snowshoe barn located on the ski hill open slope in front of chalet.
Retro ski outfit contest (2:30 p.m. judging)
Dig out your retro gear and show us what you’ve got! Show off your gear on the slopes all day! Meet on the deck in front of the A-Frame.
Youth (17 and under) adult categories.
Lantern-lit hike (6 to 8 p.m.)
Use 1-mile Superior Loop Trail across from the ski hill entrance. The loop will be lit by kerosene lanterns. Stop at the warming shelter for hot cocoa!
