Fall chairlift rides to the top of the Porkies ski hill will return on Saturdays and Sundays in September and October 2026. Thanks to those that joined in on leaf-popping fun earlier this fall!

Ski the Porkies

The Porcupine Mountains Winter Sports Complex, found just inside the entrance to Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, is located in Michigan's Western Upper Peninsula.

This more remote location is known for its wild beauty and is nestled along the shore of Lake Superior.

To access the winter sports complex, you must approach from the east via M-64. South Boundary Road within the state park is closed to vehicle traffic during the winter months. It's open for snowmobile use only.
