Mike Levine Lakelands Trail State Park
Mike Levine Lakelands Trail State Park is a 34-mile gem nestled within the broader Great Lake-to-Lake Trail, stretching from South Haven to Port Huron. This linear state park, converted from an abandoned railroad corridor, honors Michigan trails champion Mike Levine. Running from Hall Road in Livingston County to Parnall Road in Jackson County, the trail is open to a number of uses. The paved section between Hall Road in Hamburg Township and M-36 near Pinckney is a bicyclist's paradise. The remaining trail, composed of compacted limestone, caters to walkers, hikers, horseback riders and cross-country skiers.
The trail connects directly to Pinckney Recreation Area's equestrian trails and provides an additional 13 miles of riding. Motorized vehicles and hunting are prohibited.
Please note: Motorized vehicles and hunting are strictly prohibited on the trail.
