Outcomes Summary Report from the Michigan Society for Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation (MSCVPR). This report was finalized in March 2011 and distributed at the annual MSCVPR meeting April 1-2, 2011. The report provides outcomes data collected in 2008-2009 by 15 Michigan cardiac rehabilitation programs participating in the Montana Outcomes Project. The report compares outcome indicators by regions within Michigan and also Michigan versus national data. As of April 2011, there are more than 30 Michigan programs collecting outcomes data and using it to focus their quality improvement processes.

Blood Pressure Measurement Quality Improvement CD : A free self-instructional CD based professional education activity that provides an update on the national guidelines for blood pressure measurement and an interactive method for evaluating one's individual knowledge. The activity addresses standardized measurement procedure, equipment issues, common errors, testing of knowledge and interpretation of Kortokoff sounds and home measurement by patients. Participants who successfully complete the entire activity, receive at least 80% on the blood pressure readings and post-test and complete an evaluation form will earn 1.1 contact hour as approved by the Ohio Nurses Association, an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
