Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) Director Janet Olszewski has named Nick Lyon Deputy Director for the Health Policy, Regulation and Professions Administration effective Monday, March 24.

Prior to joining the department, Lyon served as the Director of the Office of Budget Development and General Government within the State Budget Office. He previously served as the Finance Officer for the Department of Attorney General.

Born and raised in the Lansing-area, Lyon received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Yale University. He and his wife, Wendy, reside in Marshall Township with their two children.
