Prescription and Over-The-Counter Drug Abuse
BSAAS formed a workgroup to develop a strategic plan for reducing Rx/OTC drug abuse. This strategic plan is to serve as a template for community-level agencies who are committed to developing local-level action plans.
BSAAS held a Prescription and Over-The-Counter Drug Abuse Summit on March 27, 2009, to raise awareness about this issue and to launch an initiative to combat the problem. A Prescription and Over-The-Counter Drug Abuse Workgroup is being formed to develop strategies for Michigan.
