Youth Access to Tobacco and Synar Info

The federal Synar Amendment requires states to have laws in place prohibiting the sale and distribution of tobacco products to persons under 18 and to enforce those laws effectively. Annual Synar checks, required by the amendment, show that great strides have been made the reduction in retailer violations of the law and youth access to tobacco products in Michigan.

Report Potential Tobacco Product Violations
FDA's Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) is providing the public and other stakeholders with another option for reporting potential violations of the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Contract Act, and related regulations with its new, downloadable Potential Tobacco Product Violations Form.
