Potassium Iodide, KI
The Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) continues to offer potassium iodide (KI) tablets to people living or working within 10 miles of Michigan's nuclear power plants. This year, the vouchers will be in the power plants' annual emergency information, mailed out in late 2012 (Cook and Fermi) or early 2013 (Palisades). The voucher may also be downloaded from this site. The vouchers can be exchanged for KI tablets at the pharmacies listed below. Eligible individuals and businesses that do not yet have KI tablets are invited to get them now. Those who already have their tablets do not need to get more.
