Non-Emergency Transporting Vehicle

Non-emergency care vehicles (such as automobiles, vans or cutaway style vehicles taking patients to doctor appointments, etc. in exchange for compensation) must obtain a business license from the Michigan Department of Transportation, Office of Passenger Transportation, but it is NOT REQUIRED if transporting EMERGENCY patients.

If the manufacturer specifies that the vehicle will carry 16 people or more, please call (517) 335-2583.
