Lake Gogebic State Park

Located on the edge of an extensive upland area set in the heart of the Ottawa National Forest, Lake Gogebic State Park is an ideal homebase while exploring the western Upper Peninsula, including Bond Falls and Agate Falls are to the east, Presque Isle River to the northeast and thePorcupine Mountains to the north.

Located on M- 64 between US-2 and M-28.

This launch is paved and capable of handling crafts of all sizes.

The angler will find excellent fishing for perch, walleye, smallmouth bass and northern pike. The local area chamber of commerce hosts fishing tournaments annually on Lake Gogebic.

Two mile scenic nature trail that loops back to the campgrounds.

Metal detecting is allowed in certain park areas. Please consult the park map for designated locations and review applicable regulations. Only registered campers can metal detect in campgrounds.

    The tiny house sleeps four (two on the main floor and two in the loft) and includes a kitchen (microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee pot), table and chairs, and seating. There is an accessible ramp. There is electricity and a propane furnace.

    Potable water can be found in the campground or at park headquarters. You must provide your own bedding.

    A fire pit, picnic table and charcoal grill can be found outdoors.
