What are the requirements for keeping this scholarship?

In order to continue receiving the Futures for Frontliners scholarship, participants must:

  1. Continue to be a resident of this state
  2. Be enrolled at least half-time (6 credits) in at least 2 semesters (earning a minimum of 12 credits) in your program in a 12-month period. The credits must be in your associate degree or skill certificate program. The semesters do not need to be consecutive.
  3. Maintain a cumulative 2.0 grade point average by the end of each 12-month period in the courses you take towards your associate degree or skill certificate as a Futures for Frontliners participant
  4. Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually. See MI Student Aid's website on What FAFSA Do I Complete? if you have questions about which FAFSA to complete each year, when it's due, and what you may need to complete it

Please note that your 12-month period will depend on the first semester in which you began participating in the Futures for Frontliners scholarship program.
