Community College
The Futures For Frontliners Application Has Closed.
If you are 25 years or older, you may still be eligible for tuition-free community college. Earlier this year a new state program, Michigan Reconnect, was launched. Reconnect offers free in-district tuition at any of Michigan's public community college, including its tribal colleges to all Michigan residents who are 25 or older and do not have a college degree. Learn more about the Community College opportunities.
If you are 24 or younger, you are not eligible for Reconnect. We encourage you to contact your local community college to see if you are eligible for other types of financial aid. Also, check Michigan.gov/SkillsToWork for other available skills training and continuing education opportunities.
