Students are considered in-district for this college if they are a citizen or eligible non-citizen of the United States and have resided in Michigan for six consecutive months before the start of the semester AND either have:
- resided within the Kalamazoo Valley Community College district (see below) for at least 30 days before the start of the semester, OR
- owned real taxable property or is a documented dependent student under the age of 18 whose parents or legal guardians have owned real taxable property, in the Kalamazoo Valley district for at least 30 days prior to the start of the semester.
