Opioid Settlement Matching Initiative
This Local Government Opioid Settlement Matching Initiative aims to:
- Maximize the impact of state and local government opioid settlement dollars by identifying opportunities for mutual investment and collaboration.
- Align local or regional investments with the state’s strategic substance use response framework in order to drive more significant progress towards achieving prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery related goals and benchmarks
- Support sustainable, data-driven programming that expands infrastructure and services such as:
- youth prevention programming, family support, community education
- naloxone distribution and harm reduction service expansion
- SUD workforce development, treatment access, and infrastructure
- recovery housing, recovery community supports, wraparound recovery services
Letters of interest will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
