Bass River Recreation Area
Bass River Recreation Area is located along the Grand River between Grand Rapids and Grand Haven in Ottawa County. The park features 3.5 miles of river frontage, and is a popular destination for boating, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and hunting.
More than 10 miles of trails traverse varied habitats and are open to hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, horseback riding and mountain biking.

A gravel boat launch (no courtesy pier) provides access to Max Lake and the south bank of the Grand River from the 104th Avenue/Bass River Road entrance. A boating access site (with courtesy pier) provides access to the south banks of the Grand River from the Lincoln Street/South Cedar Drive entrance.
