This rustic campground is surrounded by a mature beech and maple forest on the peaceful shores of Lake Ann, one of the Lower Peninsula's most pristine lakes. The campground offers excellent opportunities for boating, fishing and hiking on the adjacent Lake Ann Pathway.
There are 30 sites for tent and small trailer use. The campground is located 2 miles southwest of Lake Ann via Almira Road and Reyolds Road.
What to expect, finding a site
These rustic campgrounds offer stunning river and lakefront settings, perfect for fishing, boating, and paddling. Here's what you can expect:
- No reservations. Sites available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- There are vault toilets.
- Potable (drinking) water is available from a hand-pump well.
- No electrical available.
- Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk at each campground.
- Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay.
- One camping unit and six people are allowed per site.

Although not groomed, many cross-country skiing opportunities are available on the Lake Ann Pathway.
Fishing
Pike, bass and panfish are caught in Lake Ann. Nearby fishing opportunities include the Platte River (.5 mile south) and Sweet Lake (three miles north).
Hiking
Hiking is popular along the Lake Ann Pathway.
Hunting
This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling. Learn more about hunting.

ORV trails or routes
This campground allows ORVs to be ridden from your campsite to access local ORV routes and other roads open for ORV use. All other ORV use within the campground is prohibited.
