Enjoy a spacious group campground, ideal for equestrian campers, nestled among towering oaks and pines. With a 200-person capacity, this site offers access to excellent hiking along the North Country Trail and Boardman River. The site is maintained in partnership with the Michigan Trail Riders Association.

The trail camp is designed for use by equestrian campers riding the Shore-to-Shore Trail, a 420-mile trail system open to hiking and horseback riding, that stretches east-west from Empire to Oscoda with two additional northern and southern spur trails. There's water access for horses and a 5,000-watt generator is required for the submersible pump. If the group will utilize multiple campgrounds along the Shore-to-Shore Trail, please contact the Cadillac Operations Service Center at 231-775-9727, ext. 6006.

The campground is located adjacent to Scheck's Place State Forest Campground and 12 miles southwest of Williamsburg via Williamsburg, Supply and Brown Bridge roads.
