Orchard Beach State Park

Orchard Beach State Park

Today, the centerpiece of the park is the recently restored and relocated 850-ton historic structure. More than 3.5 miles of trail traverse through an old-growth forest and former farmland. A scenic viewing platform, located midway down the bluff at the campground's southern edge, provides expansive views of Lake Michigan and its shoreline

Due to erosion, the beach is no longer accessible from the park. Although the park does not offer water access, campers can fish for coho and Chinook salmon in the fall and steelhead in the spring by using nearby boating access sites, which also provide access for pleasure boating on inland lakes.
