MiDEAL Extended Purchasing Program
MiDEAL is an extended purchasing program which allows Michigan local units of government to use state contracts to buy goods and services. Membership is open to:
Local governments benefit directly from the reduced cost of goods and services and indirectly by eliminating the time needed to process bids. There are over 400 contracts available to MiDEAL members:
- School Districts
- Community Colleges
- Non-profit Hospitals
To become a member, send an email to MiDEAL@michigan.gov. A nominal annual membership fee applies(membership fee schedule).
The MiDEAL program is authorized by Michigan legislation and has been in existence since 1984.
