• Volunteer Center of Southwest Michigan: Putting your heart in the right place Across the state of Michigan, there are organizations that strive to recruit, train, and place volunteers. The 31 volunteer centers in Michigan serve all nonprofits and all residents in their communities and they do not limit their service to a particular issue, group of people, or type of activity.

• Volunteer Michigan Funds Help Tackle Health and Public Safety Issues The Michigan Community Service Commission (MCSC) today announced the awarding of $299,266 in Volunteer Michigan funds to seven volunteer connector organizations in an effort to build volunteer infrastructure and capacity across the state.
