MAY 2012: Cara Zerbel is a first year Michigan's AmeriCorps member serving with Michigan's Campaign to End Homelessness AmeriCorps Program at the Community Action House in Holland, Mich. Though many members face uncertainty when they first join AmeriCorps, Cara seemed to "get" her important role as an AmeriCorps member from the very beginning, seeking out ways that she could maximize her service experience.
