Dealer For Deceased Animals: Any persons in the business of procuring and transporting dead animals or any parts thereto to a licensed animal food manufacturing plant, transfer station, or rendering plant must also be licensed by the Animal Industry Division at the (517) 373-1077.

Wild Animal Breeder: When raising or selling protected wildlife (pheasants, quails, ducks, geese, deer, raccoons, etc.), a license is required with the Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Division; (517) 373-1263.
Anyone who harbors animals or birds in captivity for pets or other noncommercial purposes a "Possession Permit" is required with the Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Division;

When importing state protected bird(s) or its egg(s), protected and non-protected game, or fur bearing animals an "Importation Permit" is required with the Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Division; (517) 373-1263; before the species are shipped to the state(s).
Wildlife Exhibitor: Persons who display at a public exhibition any animal or bird specifically listed in the rules of the Department of Natural Resources must obtain an exhibition permit from that department.
