Interlochen State Park

Located just 15 miles southwest of Traverse City, Interlochen State Park is set along Green and Duck lakes. The park is home to camping, paddling, fishing, swimming and much more.

The park was established as Michigan's first state park by the Michigan Legislature in 1917. In 1928, the national music camp, Interlochen Center for the Arts, was established on the property adjoining the northern boundary of the park.

Interlochen Center for the Arts is adjacent to the park and hosts hundreds of concerts and events all year.
