The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 25, 2008, to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Jimmy Mass, #208847. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Duane Waters Hospital, Jackson, Michigan.

Jimmy Mass was sentenced out of Monroe County on April 26, 1990 to 3y - 20y for the crime of Delivery of Less than 50 Grams of Cocaine (2 counts) and on October 4, 2001 to 20y - 30y for the crime of Delivery of 225-649 Grams of Cocaine, to 10y - 20y for the crime of Conspiracy to Deliver 25-49 Grams of Cocaine and to 5y - 8y for the crime of Possession of Less than 25 Grams of Cocaine.

The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole Board.
