The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 15, 2009, to consider the possible commutation of sentence of Jose Manuel Topete, #253305. It will be at 9:00 a.m. at the Handlon, Richard A. Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Jose Manuel Topete is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Delivery of Over 650 Grams of Cocaine. He was sentenced on December 10, 1996 from Berrien County.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole Board.
