The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 , to consider the possible medical commutation of sentence for Melvin Frank Dove #145543. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Duane Waters Health Center (DWH), 3857 Cooper Street, Jackson, Michigan.
Melvin Frank Dove was sentenced on October 9, 2006 from Muskegon County to a term of 5y-20y for the crime of 3rd Delivery/Manufacture of Methamphetamine, to a term of 5y-20y for the crime of 3rd Operating/Maintaining a Laboratory Involving Hazardous Waste, to a term of 1y-5y, for the crime of 3rd Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and to a term of 2y-2y (2 Counts) for the crime of Felony Firearms (2 Counts).
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole Board.
