A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Sondra Lee Faggion

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday January 21, 2009 to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Sondra Lee Faggion.  It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Michigan Department of Corrections, Grandview Plaza, 206 East Michigan Avenue, 4th Floor Conference Room, Lansing.

Sondra Lee Faggion was sentenced to a term of 27 days confinement, 3 years probation, and a fine for Attempted Possession with Intent to Deliver and a term of 30 days confinement, 3 years probation, and a fine for Attempted Possession with Intent to Deliver Less than 50 Grams of Cocaine. She was sentenced on May 13, 1987, from Ingham County.

Barbara S. Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.

This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
