Public hearing to consider the possible parole of Hanna Nasr, #210741.

The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 to consider the possible parole of Hanna Nasr, #210741. It will be at 9:00 a.m. at the Handlon Training Center, Richard Handlon Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Hanna Nasr is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Conspiracy to Deliver/Manufacture Over 650 Grams of Heroin and a Life sentence for the crime of Delivery/Manufacture of Over 650 Grams of Heroin. He was sentenced on July 26, 1990 from Macomb County.
Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
By Statute, prisoners serving a life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 ½ or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the parole and commutation board can obtain jurisdiction.
