The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 to consider the possible parole of Jose Cardenas, #212293. It will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Handlon Training Center; Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility in Ionia, Michigan.
Jose Cardenas is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Deliver Narcotics, a 20y-30y sentence for the crime of Delivery/Manufacture of 450-999 Grams of a Controlled Substance, and a Life sentence for the crime of Delivery/Manufacture of 1,000 or More Grams of a Controlled Substance. He was sentenced on October 11, 1990 (Re-sentenced July 27, 2011) out of Oakland County.
Thomas R. Combs, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
