Welcome to the Children with Special Needs (CSN) Fund website!

We're here to help families with children with special needs obtain equipment and services not covered by insurance or other programs.

The CSN Fund can assist with the items listed below:

  • Adaptive Recreational Equipment
  • Air Conditioners/Central Air*
  • Ceiling Lifts or Stair Lifts**
  • Electrical Service Upgrades
  • Platform Lifts (when wheelchair ramp cannot be installed ADA-compliant)
  • Therapeutic Specialty Bikes/Tricycles
  • Turney Seats
  • Vehicle Accessibility Devices (van lifts, ramps, restraint systems, tie downs, etc.)
  • Wheelchair Ramps (residential)

 

*  For certain medical conditions such as severe and persistent asthma, respiratory distress, or other medical conditions exacerbated by heat and humidity, as determined by the CSHCS medical consultant.

The Children with Special Needs (CSN) Fund received a $50,000 grant from the Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation to support the Ceiling and Stairlift Program for 2026.
