Governor Granholm Announces Appointments to Worker's Compensation Qualifications Advisory Committee

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the following appointments to the Worker’s Compensation Qualifications Advisory Committee. The committee assists with the process of selecting persons to serve on the Workers' Compensation Board of Magistrates.
Marya Sieminski of Southfield, attorney with the law offices of Samuel I. Bernstein. Ms. Sieminski is appointed to represent employee interests for a term expiring October 1, 2007. She succeeds Herbert Sharples whose term has expired.
Cynthia Westerhof of Ann Arbor, Director of People Services for CMS Energy. Ms. Westerhof is appointed to represent employer interests for a term expiring October 1, 2007. She succeeds James Richards whose term has expired.
