Governor Granholm Announces Appointments to the State Board of Forensic Polygraph Examiners

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm announced the following recent appointments to the State Board of Forensic Polygraph Examiners. The board is responsible for the certification of forensic polygraph examiners of the state.
Amado Arceo, III of Saginaw, detective lieutenant and polygraph supervisor of the Michigan State Police Bridgeport Laboratory. Mr. Arceo is appointed to represent public examiners for a term expiring May 15, 2007. He succeeds Donald Elford who has resigned.
Mary Ann Neopolitan of Temperance, managing partner of Casi Di Neopolitan, Ltd., a property rental company. Ms. Neopolitan is appointed to represent the public at large for a term expiring May 15, 2007. She succeeds Tom Edmonds whose term has expired.
Patrick Pond of Portage, owner of and polygraph examiner for Pond Consulting Services. Mr. Pond is reappointed to represent private examiners for a term expiring May 15, 2007.
These appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the senate.
