Governor Granholm Appoints Gary Frederickson to Michigan Plum Advisory Board

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the reappointment of Gary Frederickson to the Michigan Plum Advisory Board. Frederickson, of Leelanau County, is the owner of Frederickson Farm in Northport.
The board is responsible for supporting and creating greater marketing opportunities for the plum industry through advertising, promotion, and research.
Mr. Frederickson is reappointed to represent growers from Northern Michigan for a term expiring July 1, 2006. This appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
