Governor Granholm Makes Appointments to the Michigan Iron Industry Museum Advisory Board

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced appointments to the Michigan Iron Industry Museum Advisory Board. The board advises the Department of History, Arts and Libraries on policies, plans, and programs concerning the Michigan Iron Industry Museum in Marquette and also supports education programs and use of the facility.
James Scullion of Marquette, retired president and CEO of the Lake Superior and Ishpeming Railroad. Mr. Scullion is appointed to represent the Marquette Historical Society for a term expiring October 4, 2007. He succeeds Frederick Stonehouse, II whose term has expired.
Allan Koski of Negaunee, senior engineer for Cliffs Michigan Mining Co. – Empire Iron Mining Partnership in Ishpeming. Mr. Koski is reappointed to represent the mineral industry for a term expiring October 4, 2007.
These appointments are not subject to the advice and consent of the senate.
