Governor Granholm Announces Appointments

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm recently announced the following appointments to the Certificate of Need Commission and the Commission on Services to the Aging:
Certificate of Need Commission
Roger Andrzejewski of Ada, director of human resources for Lacks Enterprises in Grand Rapids. Mr. Andrzejewski is appointed to represent individuals representing companies that are self-insured for health coverage for a term expiring April 9, 2007.
Edward Goldman of Ann Arbor, assistant vice president and deputy general counsel for the U of M General Counsel Health System Legal Office. Mr. Goldman is appointed to represent hospitals for a term expiring April 9, 2007. He succeeds Richard C. Breon whose term has expired.
Norma Hagenow of Grand Blanc, president and CEO for Genesys Regional Medical Center. Ms. Hagenow is reappointed to represent hospitals for a term expiring April 9, 2007.
Commission on Services to the Aging
Ramesh Verma of Novi, director of health care engineering for Ayres, Lewis, Norris & May, Inc., consulting firm in Ann Arbor. Mr. Verma is appointed to represent the general public for a term expiring July 28, 2006. He succeeds the late James W. Shelton.
The above appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
