Governor Granholm Makes Appointments to Michigan Board of Chiropractic

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm announced the recent appointments of Gary McLeod, D.C. and Patricia Chelenyak, D.C. to the Michigan Board of Chiropractic. The board provides for the licensure and examination of persons prior to their entry into the practice of chiropractic and provides penalties for violations that may occur.

Dr. McLeod of Three Rivers, owner and chiropractor at the McLeod Chiropractic Center, is appointed to represent professionals for a term expiring December 31, 2007. He succeeds Harry Settimi whose term has expired.

Dr. Chelenyak of Northville, owner and chiropractor at the Novi Chiropractic Clinic, P.C., is reappointed to represent professionals for a term expiring December 31, 2007.

These appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the senate.
