Governor Granholm Makes Appointments to the Child Support Leadership Council

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm announced the recent appointments of Lynne Martinez and John Sullivan to the Child Support Leadership Council.
 
Ms. Martinez, of Lansing, Michigan Children’s Ombudsman, is appointed for a term expiring April 11, 2006.  She succeeds Robert Geake whose term has expired.
 
Mr. Sullivan, of Wayne, attorney and Wayne County Commissioner, is appointed for a term expiring April 11, 2006.  He succeeds Joseph Yekulis whose term has expired.

The council advises the Governor and the Supreme Court in the development and implementation of strategic goals for improving services to Michigan families.
 
These appointments are not subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
