Governor Granholm Appoints Edward Knox to Michigan Board of Chiropractic

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm announced the recent appointment of Edward R. Knox to the Michigan Board of Chiropractic. Knox, of Southfield, is pastor of New Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Detroit.
The board provides for the licensure and examination of persons prior to their entry into the practice of chiropractic and provides penalties for violations that may occur.
Mr. Knox is appointed to represent the general public for a term expiring December 30, 2007. He succeeds Patricia Nemacheck whose term has expired.
This appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
