Governor Granholm Announces Appointments

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm announced the recent appointment of Ingham County Clerk Michael J. Bryanton to the Appellate Defender Commission. Bryanton, of Holt, is appointed to represent the general public for a term expiring May 24, 2008. He succeeds Michael Pung who has resigned. His appointment is not subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
The Governor also announced the reappointment of W. Howard Morris of Detroit as Inkster Public Schools Financial Manager. Morris's appointment is renewed for a term expiring August 5, 2005. This renewal of appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
