Governor Granholm Makes Appointment to Michigan Public Educational Facilities Authority

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the appointment of Ganesh V. Reddy to the Michigan Public Educational Facilities Authority. Reddy, of Okemos, is director of Business Development-Government with HTC Global Services, Inc. in Troy.
Mr. Reddy is appointed for a term expiring March 18, 2008. He succeeds Yvonne Blackmond whose term has expired.
The authority, housed within the Michigan Department of Treasury, is responsible for administering the qualified public education facility bond program for Michigan’s public schools that are in need of new facilities or whose existing facilities are in need of renovation and remodeling.
This appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
