Governor Granholm Makes Appointments to Board of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the following recent appointments to the Michigan Board of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery:
Gale E. Easton of Jackson, physician’s assistant for The Parma Medicine office of Oaklawn Hospital. Mr. Easton is appointed to represent physicians’ assistants for a term expiring December 31, 2007. He succeeds Vaughn Begick whose term has expired.
Paulette J. Lindberg of Marquette, retired/former owner of Adventure Travel and Tour. Ms. Lindberg is appointed to represent the general public for a term expiring December 31, 2007. She succeeds Kathleen Thrall whose term has expired.
The Michigan Board of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery is responsible for the licensure and examination of persons prior to their entry into the practice of Osteopathic medicine and surgery in Michigan.
These appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
