Governor Granholm Makes Appointments to Board of Architects

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the following recent appointments to the Board of Architects:
Steven C. Flum of Detroit, president and owner of Steven C. Flum, Inc. architect firm. Mr. Flum is appointed to represent architects for a term expiring March 31, 2008. He succeeds Kenneth Czapski whose term has expired.
Elisabeth E. Knibbe of Ypsilanti, sole proprietor and CEO of Elisabeth Knibbe Architects. Ms. Knibbe is appointed to represent architects for a term expiring March 31, 2005. She succeeds Kathleen Reehil who has resigned.
The Board of Architects provides for the registration of persons practicing architecture, sets qualifications for registration, and prescribes penalties.
These appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
