Governor Granholm Appoints Turnbull to Criminal Justice Information System Policy Council

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm announced the appointment of Bryan M. Turnbull to the Criminal Justice Information System Policy Council. Turnbull, of Brighton, is executive director of security at the Detroit Medical Center.
The board is responsible for creating rules and policies regarding operational procedures followed by agencies using the Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN) and Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) and restricting distribution of information from these systems.
Mr. Turnbull is appointed to represent an individual engaged in the business of private security for a term expiring at the pleasure of the Governor. He succeeds Gordon W. Kettler.
This appointment is not subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
