Governor Granholm Makes Reappointments to Michigan Economic Growth Authority

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the following reappointments to the Michigan Economic Growth Authority:
Cullen L. Dubose of Okemos, president of Painia Development Corporation. Mr. Dubose is reappointed to represent members not employed by this state and who have knowledge, skills, and experience in the academic, business, local government, or financial fields for a term expiring April 18, 2009.
Faye Alexander Nelson of Troy, president and CEO of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy Center. Ms. Nelson is reappointed to represent members not employed by this state and who have knowledge, skills, and experience in the academic, business, local government, or financial fields for a term expiring April 18, 2009.
The Authority promotes economic growth and job creation within the state.
These reappointments are subject to Article V, Section 6 of the Michigan State Constitution of 1963. They stand confirmed unless disapproved by the Senate within 60 days.
