LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the appointment of Paul E. Stutesman as Judge of the 45th Circuit Court, which serves St. Joseph County.
Stutesman, of Three Rivers, most recently served as an attorney and partner at Tucker, Davidson, Stutesman & Hines law firm. He is active in the community, serving on the board of directors and as legal advisor to the Keystone Place Homeless Shelter and is a former 2nd vice president of the Three Rivers Rotary Club. Stutesman also served on the Immaculate Conception School Commission.
Stutesman earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law and graduated from Western Michigan University.
“Paul’s years of legal experience and service to the Three Rivers community make him an excellent choice for the bench. I am confident he will serve the community well,” Granholm said.
Stutesman replaces former Judge James Noecker. His term will expire at noon on January 1, 2007.
