Granholm Appoints Theile Judge of 7th Judicial Circuit Court

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the appointment of Michael J. Theile as Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court, which serves Genesee County.
Theile, of Flushing, most recently served as a magistrate on the state Worker’s Compensation Board of Magistrates. He previously served more than twenty years as an attorney in private practice. Theile earned his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduated from Western Michigan University.
Theile is appointed for a term expiring January 1, 2007. He replaces Judge Robert Ransom who has resigned.
