Granholm Appoints Reincke Judge of 56-A District Court

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the appointment of Julie H. Reincke as Judge of the 56-A District Court, which serves Eaton County.
Reincke, of Eaton Rapids, most recently served as an attorney in private practice. Prior to that, she was a partner with Nolan, Reincke, Thomsen, and Villas, P.C. law firm and an adjunct professor of business law with the Michigan State University Business Department.
Reincke earned her law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduated from Cornell College. Her participation in civic organizations includes serving on the Eaton Rapids Community Hospital Board of Directors, Eaton Rapids Community Foundation Board of Directors, and her involvement with the Eaton Rapids Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Reincke replaces Judge Paul F. Berger who has resigned. Her term will expire January 1, 2007.
