Governor Granholm Statement on House Approving Funding for Pure Michigan Campaign

LANSING - Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today issued a statement following House action on the Pure Michigan campaign:

"I applaud the state House of Representatives for acting to fund Michigan's award-winning Pure Michigan advertising campaign.  Pure Michigan has boosted our state's tourism industry and helped create jobs for Michigan workers.  I urge the Senate to act quickly so we can have a Pure Michigan advertising campaign up and running in time for this summer's vacation season."
