Governor Granholm Appoints Frank Arnold Judge of Monroe County Probate Court

LANSING - Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the appointment of Frank Arnold as judge of the Monroe County Probate Court for a term beginning August 18, 2010 and expiring January 1, 2013. He replaces Judge Pamela Moskwa who has resigned.
Arnold, of Monroe, was most recently owner of the law office of Frank L. Arnold, PLLC. He previously served as an associate attorney with Ready, Sullivan & Ready, LLP law firm, where he also clerked for then-attorney Moskwa. He is a member of the St. Mary Catholic Central Alumni Association and a former participant of the Monroe County Catholic Jail Ministry.
Arnold earned his law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Golden Key National Honor Society. He is a graduate of St. Mary Catholic Central High School in Monroe.
This appointment is not subject to disapproval by the Michigan Senate.
